I think we have done it before but how about a 24 player NFL draft

8 HOF players
8 Pro Bowl players(32 total PB's for the 8 limit)
8 Non Pro Bowl

I think it had something to do with your position groupings idea... and decades. Something like 6 position groupings and 6 decades and you have to pick your players from... shit... I think it is kind of coming back to me and I don't think I like it as much now because there will be people drafting from different player groups. Anyway, you have to have your groups from from the same decade and you have to use each of the decades.


So you do 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. First game has to be in that decade. QB/RBs, WR/TEs, OL, DL, LBs, DBs. You know?

What about a lopsided NFL draft? Each GM can draft one side of the ball where they have 12 HOF/unlimited Pro Bowl players...the other side of the ball...you get 1 HOF and 1 more with 5 or more Pro Bowls. 1958-2004 first game played. Each GM decides which side they want to load

Maybe a nba draft where you pick based upon birthday. 10 players. You pick 1 with the 1 to 3 birthdate, 1 with 4 to 6, 1 with 7 to 9, 1 with 10 to 12, 1 with 13 to 15. Etc.

You should have got really high and built it up before you pitched it. It's all about presentation.
