So, it's like a restricted draft with 4 WCs? Can we use them at any time or do we have to use up the pool first?

That's one of the things we need to think about I am thinking use them when you want. But it's not like they are really wild card picks because they will be players not drafted in the original draft.

So most likely you will post a draft with some nice restrictions so then our WC picks actually have more value?

That's one thing we will need to decide, I think whatever draft I use we will use the restrictions of that draft. Gotta think about it a bit more.

I was thinking that the draft pool will be the restrictions. Then, you get the WCs to throw in there. So like, if we used a no HOF, no MVP or POY draft, we would be able to use the WCs for players who were MVPs or HOFs or POYs and such.

Yeah, I've spent the last hour or so looking through old drafts...

I’d suggest using one of the older cap drafts. You’d have a lot of guys who were value picks and also a lot of guys who weren’t drafted because of big cap figures.

Oh yeah, you're right okay so MLB it is...
MLB always gets my vote.
If we do NFL, how about a conference draft instead of a state draft? So many players from each of the major conferences plus an equal number from all other schools. You can only pick 1 player per school, so if we were getting say 4 per conference, you couldn't take 4 players from ND from the non power schools.

4 players per conference
ACC
Big 12
Big 10
Pac 12
SEC
All Others

Older players apply to conference they would be in today. Example: If a player was at Arkansas while they were in the Southwest Conference, he would count as SEC today,

The No All Star Same Team Draft

Double picks, you draft one player and must also draft someone who spend the majority of their careers playing for the same team as the all star pick who never played in an all star game..

1933 - 2003

Example... Rickey Henderson & Tony Phillips

Whichever team they played the most games for? And, they don't necessarily have to be teammates, right? As long as they both played most of their games with that team?

This could be a very quick nine round draft...
