in regards to your bust idea I actually did one once a few years back....I was on vacation visiting my family up in MASS and got baked to high heavens with my buddy in my parents basement - we started digging through all my old basketball cards and ended up having a draft where we made the worst team possible from the cards We had a blast so I think it could be fun in the right setting, just not sure how a full 10 or 12 team draft of it would play out. Plus having the pictures of these guys from the cards to go off is a big part of why it was so funny/fun

not sure if we would do a baseball draft, but a Harold baines in the first round is EXCITING AS HELL!!!

I propose an ALL-CRIMINAL draft...it could be any act of crime, violence or whatever else these sick fucks did. I haven't looked at the player pool much but I don't think the teams would be very loaded too

The only real rules we would have to layout for this draft is what should be considered as a crime. I'm sure Larry Fitzgerald stole a candy bar one time in his life...but can you find the story

Another draft we could try sometime is to do a college and pro draft at the same time for NFL or NBA.

That's interesting. I guess we would only be able to start a player on one of the teams (College or pro) or would we be able to draft a player's college career and pro career separately?

I've done an NBA/CBB one like that where you could draft them separately and it was fun

Honestly, I think the way I would want it is you couldn't use a player for both unless you drafted him twice, i've been drinking quite a bit so maybe that's a bad idea i'm not sure...

Not at all... I think you are saying you want to separate their careers.

Yeah that's the way we did it - have to draft separately. Too much of an advantage for some guys if you only have to draft them once

I actually like you can only draft them once. But you can not use a player on both teams. And once a player is taken doesn’t matter for what he can not be taken again

So if I draft Michael Jordan, I choose whether I want him for my college or my nba team. And even if I use him in the nba, he could not be taken in college.

This will get more DIFFERENT players to be taken, and give you the choice of which team you want to emphasize.

So NFL bucket draft with states? The west is lacking so had to put some of them more mid-western states in that bucket to even things out a bit.

You have to use 6 out of 7 states for every bucket for a players' birthplace...

South Bucket
Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Louisiana
Mississippi
Tennessee
West Virginia

West Bucket
California
Washington
Oklahoma
Texas
Kansas
Arizona
Iowa

Northeast Bucket
Pennsylvania
Virginia
New York
Ohio
North Carolina
New Jersey
Massachusetts

Midwest Bucket

Wisconsin
Illinois
Michigan
Arkansas
Minnesota
Missouri
Kentucky

How about an era draft for NBA/ABA again sometime.

20 player draft: 4 Quarter lineups

1946-1960
1961-1974
1975-1989
1990-2004
2005-Present

Years are the first year played in the NBA/ABA. You need 1 player from every era in each of your lineups.

I don't think I know one player from 46-60 off the top of my head other than Bill Russell and George Mikan.

I have an idea...

We could do an NFL expansion draft.

I will use a previous draft and post 10 teams, we will all be allowed to draft two players off each team for a total of 20 and then with the other four selections we will have to pick four players not listed on the teams we are using to draft from.

Still some things to think about but I like the idea...

What say you?

So, it's like a restricted draft with 4 WCs? Can we use them at any time or do we have to use up the pool first?
