Once again, someone has to start the torture. But in this case, a bit of an interesting development goes along with said torture:

Vikings waive starting CB Bashaud Breeland after reported practice altercation

The Minnesota Vikings waived starting cornerback Bashaud Breeland following a reported altercation with coaches and teammates.

So the immediate question is if Breeland can clear waivers until reaching da Bears, should we take a flyer on him? He obviously wouldn't be able to participate in the game tomorrow night, but he could possibly serve as a kind of sideline coach. And once he's up to speed with our defensive play calling, he would undoubtedly vault into the #2 CB spot. Thoughts?

only thing making the game tolerable today is the record of the viqueens playing down to their competition that will probably make this a close game.

great post, there was a picture from early in the year where it looked like Nagy had Fields by the shoulder pad and was yelling in his face. I never got the context of that picture, if it was way to go or do it like I told you, but that came to mind with the stunner on Nagy.

Most teams strategy has been to locate where Breeland is and throw in that direction

I just wanna see some glimpses from our QB. See something to make me believe the future can be better. I don't expect big numbers in Nagy's playbook but something positive from the QB position to make me think things will get better next year. Score does not matter. Also some nice sacks by our D would be fun to watch.

I think both franchises could make a strong case for firing their coaches today. Looks like we'll both be HC shopping this off-season.


Fields will make the bears job more attractive I'd think. I know he hasn't lit the world on fire, but the potential is there for the kid.
