They're getting closer on an extension for him unfortunately. They were two of my favorite QB projects since '98. I have yet to meet anybody who shares the same opinion I have of those two guys. And I will never apologize for it.

And Ryan. I had Ryan ahead of Flacco. Two of the best I've seen since '98. Many of my friends think I sometimes go overboard when I talk about either one. I respect those two so much for who they SEEM to be off the field as well and how they reportedly carry themselves to others in the organization, which goes a long way with me.

I fell pretty hard for Dalton as well but not in the same range as Ryan and Flacco. One of about a couple dozen players I advocated for that ended up going just one or two before the 49ers pick or one or two picks after the 49ers pick (in Dalton's case it was 1 pick ahead of the 49ers).

Anyhow, another wide open man for Flacco.

I'll prove my point as far as being fairly alone on an island with just about everybody I've talked to. I'd rather start a team today with Ryan or Flacco than with Stafford or Cutler (two popular names on this board). That's if you give me full control to hire my coaches and put my amateur imprint on the offense. Heck, even if I don't have control of who the coach is, I'd still start a team with those two than Stafford or Cutler.
