MLB Play in game 1: WLK vs Shane

I don't argue Mussina isn't better, however I think my lineup gives me more runs in a 10-8 type game... You call it luck but Wakefield beat him twice in the series... If you're looking at my lineup there is power up and down the lineup Ruth being the greatest... While this is the first time I've selected this type of offense I feel the power in my lineup is enough to compliment my pitching...

I think both are lineups have lineups with very good power from top to bottom

I picked against you because I don't like your offense... Your rotation is the clear winner, I do agree with that... Bullpens are close, but I probably lean your team...


I would actually call both teams weakness their lineups... but I don't think I fear your lineup at all... while I really do like the top and heart of WLKs offense...

Hmm. Lofton and Garciparra are both great but I feel like Jeter and Alomar are just as good 1-2 combo. I think defense gets overlooked. If you actually look at teams that win it all, obviously complete teams win it but it starts with the rotation, bullpen and defense. Winning the low scoring games is key but I guess it is viewed differently in these matchups bc they are essentially all-star teams.
