All season I've been doing nothing but picking series wins (not individual games) based on which team is "better" (95% of the time measured by the teams' win/loss record). So all the teams that I picked to win today will be my picks for those matchups for the rest of the series.

I've done that quite a few times this year, too. Especially when making my weekend picks on a Friday, but as you said, teams have tried their damndest to screw that up.
