I would think that Shane would need to find a different phase instead of re picking.
The game was not playedBut they still had an AS team though, right?
"No MLB players were officially named to the All-Star teams in 1945, due to the cancellation of the All-Star Game. The All-Star rosters for the AL and Nl All-Star teams were to have been selected by each All-Star squad's manager (from 1935 through 1946), which did not occur that season"
But there is a roster voted on by the Sporting News and AP, but from 1932-1946 the AS teams were picked by the coaches.
Basically the AS team for 1945 was a newspaper article written on July 12th (not making that up)
Idc if it counts or not, btw.
The game was not played
Idc if we count it or not, that's probably the weirdest thing I've seen since Iv've been doing these drafts.
Yeah it doesn't matter to me, but it is 50-50Idc if we count it or not, that's probably the weirdest thing I've seen since Iv've been doing these drafts.
Damn it! My next 2 picks...
Jim Palmer SP (R) - phase 1 - played in 1982
Tom Glavine SP (L) - phase 7 - 2nd in Cy (1992)
Fuckers!!!
If one site says he was a 4-time all-star I will pick another phase. An all-star is an all star whether the game was played or not
You're a big boy now. You don't have to wait until we text you to make a pick.lmao, I've been up for over an hour and no one bothered telling me, jesus christ.
