48 TDHe under produced at Penn St for how great of a recruit he was coming up. I think everyone that saw him play at Penn St and Penn St fans knew he didn't have what it takes to last in the NFL or even really compete. Not a shock...not surprised he tried the NFL route before baseball though.
48 TD
31 INT
56%
only 2 of his 3 years there did he had a positive TD/INT ratio.
Tebow say's Hi
totally different situation... Hackenberg is coming into baseball younger, and as a pitcher... the fact that he is trying to be a pitcher already gives him a significantly better chance for success...
Yeah this is true. I just see it turning out to be Tebow type situation
how so?? nobody cares about hackenberg… He was not polarizing at all... the only similarities they have is that they were failed football players that attempted playing baseball... I am sure there are many success stories too... in fact, I bet that a big portion of baseball players were dual sport athletes(not talking about Deion or Bo)
I just meant in that this probably won't pan out for him...
same way it probably doesn't pan out for most people... He still needs to have talent... but we have no clue whether he does yet... This could easily be a try out and then retire situation...
Not sure what he plans to do now that baseball was murdered.
