Wow, really? I thought he was always a highly regarded prospect. I don’t think people thought he’d be the best player in the game though. I remember I was at a Rainiers game and everyone was down there trying to get his autograph.

I am with you. I mean he did it right out of the gate so no real time to doubt his ability. It did say it was from MLB The Show so who knows. I just got a laugh out of it because how could someone, anyone, be so wrong.

Yeah well I see this years edition doesn’t have the Mariners prospects very high. I got it and I think Ford is the only top 100 guy, which is so weird

There were a lot of psychos back in the 80's and he was definitely one of them. Not a good person.

Doesn't seem possible that could be from an MLB scout in 2011. He rose through the minor league ranks very quickly starting in 2009. Stole 56 bases in 600 PA's in 2010 and had an OPS over 900. Even in the minors, it doesn't seem like having those kinds of numbers would garner those kinds of scouting comments. He only had a total of 11 homers in 2009/10, though, so maybe?

Right?. I am fascinated every time I see a video like this. Looks like it is just blowing in the wind.
