because half the game is standing around! they are ok
If the game was the only thing the players did, I could understand not needing rest. Longer season would mean better rest and better baseball.

I think tanking is having more of an impact on attendance than anything else...
As I said, I am definitely fine with going to see the future which is gonna be after the deadline. The garbage right now? Nah, ok watching it on TV.Strong this ^
I don't think the casual or even the average baseball fan really notices the K's - unless you make them aware of it.
Every team that doesn't have a legit chance to win their division sells all of their pieces now. Half of the league spends the majority of their season playing baseball that doesn't matter. Most people just aren't spending their money or time to go see that product. Nothing to do with K's.

It's something like 3-4 minutes of the ball in play during a typical game.because half the game is standing around! they are ok

That's only a ball in play. Not pitching.tahts crazy

pitching takes a whileThat's only a ball in play. Not pitching.
The number is lower now than at any point in the games history. Millenials have no pride in themselves, dont even mind striking out.
Yeah, it's a majority of the game.pitching takes a while
yes but theres 90 seconds of prep and hand wiping for each pitchYeah, it's a majority of the game.
You don't like baseball much, do you?yes but theres 90 seconds of prep and hand wiping for each pitch
i do, i hate the immense downtime and the sissiness of some of the shit on the DLYou don't like baseball much, do you?
A cliche that doesn't matter to methe future is every year
there are only 3 teams with 50 wins. My guess is that there are more teams in the 20 win catagory.Strong this ^

https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...-bad-baseball-attendance-strikeouts/718162002
Players are striking out more than at any time, an alarming 22.5 percent of all plate appearances. We are on pace for more strikeouts than hits – 18,613 strikeouts compared to 18,136 hits entering Wednesday's non-action.
A staggering 41 position players who appeared in Tuesday night’s games were batting .200 or below.
And you wonder why attendance is down 6.5 percent from this point last year. The average attendance to date is 27,675, which would be the lowest since 1996.
The average time between balls put in play, according to "Sports Illustrated," is a staggering 3 minutes, 45 seconds.
We’ve already had three no-hitters – one more than the last two seasons combined – with eight pitchers having a no-hitter through at least seven innings and 27 pitchers with a no-no through six innings.
