They were WAY before our time...I just know about them from some reading I did a while back. There was a pretty famous game between the old NY Giants and the Chicago White Sox in Chelsea in 1918. Right before the Black Sox scandal

They said that about the NFL, and it's done okay in avoiding that.Baseball in London will appeal to Mainlanders, mostly Dutch and Germans, where the game has some roots because of US military history. There is some baseball in Sweden. Almost none in UK. If they draw crowds, it will be Mainlanders who don't need a primer on how the game is played.
