I like 500's lineup a little better. I like UK's bench. I like 500's rotation but I like UK's a bit more. I also like UK's pen more. This is close but I gotsta lean UK here. I had these teams 2 and 3 in my rankings...

I love 500's lineup. There is a crazy amount of power, I mean crazy. There's incredible average, there's speed, but why is there ARod in the two hole?

And only one lefty in the pen?

Those are the knocks I came up with. Alex Rodriguez in the two hole and I'm holding it against him.

I'm a huge fan of UKs team, but I can't vote against 500's lineup.

I broke down both teams, because I considered voting for 500, he has an awesome team. I feel like I could edge him out by the closest of margins. My starting pitchers career averages in winning %, ERA, ERA+, K/9 was better across the board. 500's awesome lineup was much better in HR's than mine, but I had slight edges in batting average, OBP and steals, meaning I think he still has a tougher lineup because of the power edge, but my offense could scratch out one more run vs his pitching than his could against mine. However, if you favor the long ball and power lineups, 500's may be one of the best we've ever done. Awesome team

Many people argue the 2 hole is the most valuable lineup spot. I'd rather put the better hitter there than 5 especially when I still have Greenberg 5th. I'm stacking my best hitters as high as possible so they get as many ABs as possible. Anyways I'll vote for me too but certainly can't argue much if UK wins great team and I think I did the best I could too from the last spot.

I hate strikeouts in the 2 hole.

And ideally it should be a lefty to me. Easier to move the runners up and over. But that's just my personal preference.

I have UK winning here...

ARod and Tony Gwynn are the problem with 500s offense... Both are great players... But tony Gwynn never walked... Yes, we are talking about great pitchers, but the problem with hitters who don't walk is that they also don't see many pitches... Gwynn averages 3.35 pitches per at bat, which is below the average of 3.65... Just to compare, Tim Raines averages 3.76 pitches per AB...

And as Smitty said, ARod at the 2 hole, he strikes out WAY too much...

UK has the better rotation, and I like his offense more for the reason above... SO UK wins...

When Tony Gwynn and A-Rod are "problems" I think I did pretty good

You had an awesome team. Will be tough for whoever is in the 3rd place game. As with Smitty's team, it was a coin toss, really fine team

not sure about that... just because they are both great players... if they are going to hurt the team because of where they are in the lineup, they are still hurting the team...
