Argh... I thought I'd be able to grab kershaw with my nect pick!....

This kid is unreal. 26 years old, and if he retired today, he'd deserve to be 1st ballot Hall of Fame. 1 MVP, 3 Cy Youngs, 4 time MLB ERA Champ, 2 time Strikeout champ, 2.48 career ERA and a No Hitter.

To put that in perspective, Greg Maddux, unquestionably one of the greatest pitchers ever, In his career....No MVP'S, 4 Cy Youngs, 4 time NL ERA Champ(never MLB), 0 Strikeout Championships, 3.16 career ERA, 0 No Hitters......

:omg:

His career ERA+ is 151!... Smaller sample size, but second only to Pedro Martinez is very impressive....

So did we approve the 5 player expansion?

Also...can a DH be any position player or does it have to be someone who played DH for 3 years

The 5 player extension was approved. I already used this rule. I have 3 players from same decade.

DH I don't think they have to have played 3 seasons. I say anyone can be a DH.

I think so... The only thing that is unclear is when these extra players can be taken.

I understand the extra five can be from any decade. I want to make sure we pick two from all decades before we pick these extra players.

So, it would be like continuing the original draft - then having extra innings.

I don't want someone picking 3 players from the 80's before they pick two from the 60's.... That would screw up the strategies we have already established....

Wait! Really?? I disagree with that. We should continue with two from each decade before we make these extra picks.

Changin now will screw up what we've already started. This is supposed to be hard! It seems like you guys are stuck, then change the rules to make it easier!

:wtf2:

I also disagree with you DH 'allowance'. I'm willing to lower it to 2 seasons (or whatever)... but to make someone a DH, they must have been a DH.

Am I being a hard-ass?? Am I the only one that will have to re-evlauate all my positions?

If I'm the only one that thinks this way, I'm ok with the changes...

I need more coffee.

Wait.... So what are the rules?

How many players can we have from one decade? How many games must a player have at a position?

I posted I was done with 80's after The Unit, since he was my second player from that decade. But Id like several other players from the 80's.

I didn't pick a 3rd yet for that reason, sounds like Ritz did. Ritz should keep his guy, but we need this clarified

I never considered DH to be a position. NL players and guys that retired pre-1969 would be exempt if we do that. And I'll still be in the market for a leadoff hitter. (But Ill be all set at pinch runner.). But I see where you're coming from with it.

Im with you on most everything else.
