The scoreboard people at the parks apparently are in charge of the crowd noise and when they get the "Cheer" alert they turn up the volume a bit.
The same for "Clap".
The "Boo" icon doesn't make a boo sound at the park they simply turn the cheering down a bit.
I chose "cheer' and you can see the little cone floating up the "P".
