Wow, pretty tough here. I think I lean Mookie. Nos definitely has the better starters, but I think Mookie's lineup and pen should be able to keep the games in play for him.

I think having Goose and Righetti as his LR kind of negates the impact a bit of the starters. You can pull them a bit earlier if need be and have great pitching to back them up. Most times our BP's consist of a lot of guys who aren't sustainable guys who can go for multiple innings, but in this draft because we needed guys to fit those roles, I think it helps a bit.

I don't know about "negates" but it definitely helps having those long relievers, if your starters get beat up they can come in. I would rather have Walter, Rube and Ryan hitting 6-7 innings than a starter going 3 and having to use those long relievers in a couple games, BP can get worn down in the series. Don't get me wrong I love Mookie's BP and lineup, I still thought Nos had a pretty good lineup as well---the difference in rotation was too much as much as I loved Mook's BP.

Either way, the matchup was close.

All fair points. And lack of SP was def the reason I went early on multi inning RP. Quisenberry had something stupid like 35+ multi inning saves fir a few years. The bullpen is def built for long stretches. The Feller trade prob hurt me but I couldn't resist pairing Manny with Papi.
