I really like Hockey's team, I had both Hockey and Femur in my top 3 so I am gonna lean Hockey here.

Ritz. I got myself winning. I am not a fan of Hockey’s all current day bench and mostly bullpen. I feel my pitchers are better and I like my lineup with mostly guys whose career batting average is over .300. I do give Hockey credit for having a good lineup but I feel at the minimum 4 of my pitchers are easily better than his.

LINEUP

2. Ichiro Suzuki (L) – CF .314 BA, 2,963 hits, 500 SB’s
3. Mark McGwire (R) - 1B .263 BA, 583 Homers, 12x All-Stars
4. Jim Thome (L) – DH .276 BA, 612 Homers, 1,700 RBI’s
5. Jose Bautista (R) – RF .256 BA, .863 OBS, 298 HR

8. Home Run Baker (L) - 3B .307 BA, 4x AL HR leader, 3x WS
9. Alan Trammell - (R) – SS .285 BA, 4x GG, 6x All-Star

BENCH
Harold Baines (L) - DH/RF * See PH below
Jason Varitek (B) - C (Starts vs Lefties)
Jarrod Dyson (L) - PR/CF * See PR below
Omar Vizquel (B) - SS (Starts vs Lefties)
Sam Rice (L) – RF .322 BA, 2,987 hits, HOF, AL SB leader (1920)

ROTATION
1. Roger Clemens (R) 7x Cy Young, 11x All-Star, 2 WS
2. Hal Newhouser (L) 7x All-Star, 2x AL MVP, 2x ERA & SO leader
3. Red Ruffing (R) 6x WS Champion, 6x All-star, 1,987 SO’s
4. Barry Zito (L) AL CY Young, 3x All-Star, 1,885 SO’s
5. Josh Beckett (R) WS MVP, 2x WS Champ, 1,901 SO’s

BULLPEN
Rollie Fingers (R) HOF, 341 Saves, 1,299 SO’s, AL CY Young
Eddie Guardado (L) 187 Saves, AL Saves Leader, 798 SO’s
Rick Aguilera (R) 318 Saves, 2x WS Champ, 1,030 SO’s
Tippy Martinez (L) 115 saves, WS Champion, 632 SO’s
Jim Johnson (R) 134 Saves, 2x MLB saves leader, AL relief man (2012)

Lineup:
My hitters have a high career batting average. Got amazing speed in front of my lineup then I added amazing power bats throughout the rest of my lineup. I have HOF players on the bench.

Bench:
Dyson Pinch runner: There really isn't anyone who's close to Dyson when it comes to swiping bags off the bench. The fact that he's done so at a solid 78.8% clip is especially impressive, considering other teams have undoubtedly clued in to what's likely to happen when pinch runs.

Baines Pinch Hitter: Baines batted over .300 eight times and hit .324 in 31 career postseason games, topping the .350 mark in five separate series.

I vote for Ritz, although I'm calling bullshit that Jose Batista's on base % was 862. That's just absurd.

Double checking it now. If I am wrong then I will fix it ASAP.

I'm the king of second place but gonna go for broke here!!!

First team I've had in a few drafts where I really liked my team. Ritz was one of the other top teams I had though.

I'm going myself.

I like Ritz's bullpen better and 1-2-3. I like Hockey's lineup overall, but I like Ritz's the way it flows and his bench is better IMO. And defensively I guess a tie.

So it's a tie. Thanks. :suds:

Sorry man I gave you heads actually lol... I think you have slightly better Rotation but it didn't overwhelm his staff... His lineup was the same way for me vs your lineup... I found myself trying to talk myself into changing my vote everytime I had a winner lol so since my washer is broken and I'm at the laundromat I have a bunch of quarters and flipped one lol... :L

It's a coin flip. I think Rocket wins 2 in a 7 game series, and Hockey probably wins 3 of the remaining 5, but not 4 of 5. Ritz in 7
