What is everyone's thoughts on the taking of Jose Abreu and Jose Fernandez? Both are great for 1 year but I believe to early to take them since they aren't proven.

You forgot Bryce Harper. I don't think anyone would doubt Fernandez is the real deal, he should be able to come back after Tommy John and still be a dominating pitcher.

I would rather take someone like Abreu or Fernandez that has already show elite skills than Harper whos shown average skills, he's without question the most overrated player in the game today especially in fantasy baseball where people were drafting him in the 2nd round, that's just insane. I have like 5 fantasy baseball teams this year and Harper is on ZERO of them.

I know I compared your 141 teams you managed and I have a better winning percentage in every sport except NCAA tournament challenge. Damn March madness screws me everytime. :-)

I disagree about Abreu because it's waaaay to early to judge him on half a season. Harper might be over rated, he'll he is over rated but that doesn't mean he isn't a good to great baseball player when healthy.

.269 career average in 2+ seasons with no more than 22 HR's 59 RBI's and 18 Steals is hardly great, he's still young so he could get much better but the point is he hasn't shown elite skill yet, Fernandez has and Abreu is going to have nearly 30 HR's at the break. Abreu is older though so who knows why it took so long.

You don't have a better % in baseball. And I've played in like 3 times more leagues than you and it really means nothing being who knows how good the players were in the leagues you've played in. Let's see how we do head to head then let's see if you can brag...

Media tried and tried to make Harper a huge ordeal. He never lived up to hype and doubt he willanytime soon with Trout overshadowing him for his whole career.

Oh and if you look at trophies.

I have finished top 3 in a higher % of Football, Baseball and Basketball and you've only played in 2 hockey leagues.
