MLB 2000-Present Dynasty Draft Chat

It's a keeper league where each year you lose a draft pick where the player was drafted. Tanaka was drafted in 8th round and Felix in 3rd. So I could only have Felix for 2 more seasons while I could have Tanaka for 7 more. I did draft Abreu in 8th so I'll have a stud hitter for 7 seasons until they drug test him.

You are good then for 7 years. MLB will not test and do witch hunt shit again until they have to.

MLB likes it just the way it is.


Now I understand the trade. Might be good thing now if Tanaka goes out for TJ surgery.

Pretty pleased with my first 4 picks so far.

Was surprised to see Ichiro and Hanley drop that far. People forget but Hanley was a beast in his Marlins days. And Ichiro is so old that you forget his first year wasn't until 2001.

Utley I like for his offensive production at 2B. Ryan Howard posted monster numbers. Would've preferred taking Yu Darvish, but Howard is a solid pick

Ichiro and Utley got crossed off, really wanted Ichiro but C/SS are always my 1st two picks if I am stuck in the middle.

Ok say there's a catcher I want to draft who was really good offensively for four years and then late in his career moved to first base. Can I play him at first base while assuming he's hitting like those peak four years?

I will remember how this guy hit before his position. Gold gloves will help vote, but the lack will not hurt over offense. That is just me.

Miggy's defense sucked worse at 3rd than it does at 1st and he is 3B for me.

Your starters are nice but I wouldn't say they are a lot better. Better maybe but a lot better don't thing so. Now we got to start building our offense.

I just like em better is all. We got a tightknit clubhouse. Was real happy Big CC was still there. Everyone forgets Indian/Brewer CC was unreal. Im a little disappointed David Wright was lost in the Expansion Draft. Didn't plan on that.
