Oh we can get there. This isn't much different than the situation 2 years ago where we started out poor and then just turned it on out of nowhere.

If we can go win at Illinois on Saturday and get to 3-3 in Conference play, we have some momentum. The trouble obviously is after Illinois we have a really tough stretch coming up. We go on the road to MSU and Purude, and we get Michigan and Maryland at home.

Now, if we split those 4 games.....man I'd say we have a chance.

In fact, @iruletheskool, we were 11-10 that year (3-6 in the B1G) when we suddenly turned it on and made a run for the NCAA tournament.

We are not out at all right now.

i watched a little of the game but didn't watch the Rutgers game at all. it just seemed like we matched up better with these teams. in particular in the paint where we are just young and inexperienced.
