I copy&pasted this post from another site, made by a poster & former lineman named WindyCity. I thought it should be shared with Bear fans here. ( I looked at Jordan Mills in the 2nd and 3rd quarter to see if I could see what the coaches saw to make the change with J'Marcus Webb.

I read this over there, a great analysis. It would be even more useful if I sat down and watched the game against it. But it's pre-season, and I don't watch it, and need to clear my entire life schedule for the upcoming all-consuming season ahead.

A lot of positives there, and sounds like good analysis.
But.... who was he up against?
Another rook?
A "fourth" teamer that will be cut in two weeks?
Where is the quality of his opponent at?
~
Don't get me wrong, I really would like for Mills and Long to be a long-term solution (along with Bushrod and Slauson) but seriously, -how much stock can you put in this analysis?
If the kid showed up like that against someone like Peppers? WOW!!
...against a McLellin?....meh...

Webb is a solid back up at best, but pretty good for a 7th round draft pick, he has helped all along the Oline since we drafted him. but definitely not a starter for us.

same name. I barely have posted there, that board is too busy, so I don't follow it closely. Just when I have some extra free time. The old ESPN board had about the right volume of material for me, which was something I liked about it.

Good call. I see it the same way. Boy it's hard to keep up over there.
