Milks attempt for a 32 team league 927001

i am starting early this year... and i also have the rosters and rules all set in mind too... NOTHING SET IN STONE...

Starting roster
1 RB, 2 WR, 2 flex 1 SUPERFLEX(reminder, we use superflex here because not all teams will have a QB, and all teams need to be legal- this is NOT a superflex league)

9 player bench

total 15 players per team


all QB TDs will be 4 points no matter how that QB scores a TD...

all other TDs will be 6 points...

.04 per passing yard, -.5 per sack taken

.1 per rushing and receiving yards

.5 per rushing and receiving First down
.5 per reception


As for site... i prefer to use FANTRAX, but there will be a league fee IF WE USE IT....

but if we do get 32 owners, we can go to sleeper, which is free... but dont know how customizable...

so if you are interested in joining please tell me whether you are willing to pay or not... as in MONEY LEAGUE IS A DEAL BREAKER....


all rules are not set in stone and may be changed depending on site, and depending on the other owners...

I am putting in a poll to track people better... whether money or not money... it is only one league... If you are a maybe just count yourself as Yes for now...

My only issue here is with small starting rosters(i know you have too). Theres going to be a handful of teams that get lucky with getting a guy mid round that has a career year and just steamrolls. I know thats any league, but with so many players divided up. Those “flyers” we all have become luck. I think like 20+ of the teams will have no shot to compete.

The way it is currently set, is not small starting roster.

But your issue is going to be a factor no matter what in a league this deep.

The deeper leagues are the more likely you have to start that streamer. And weeks will be won because you had to start someone who just happened to have a good week.

Those 20 teams would play each other enough that several would have a chance to make the playoffs.

There are a lot of competitive balance issues I see with a 32 team league. I am trying to figure out best way to handle some. But those players who you were lucky to draft or start is probably my last issue that I am worried about.

Draft issues on both the startup and the rookie draft...

Startup, i think it may be best to do a third round revresal... or even not do a snake at all... first 2 rounds can be snake, then the rest of the draft would be 32-1, every round... not sure about any of this yet...

rookie draft is similar, as it really is all about QBs... if a QB needy team does not get a QB, they may struggle for a while... with 32 teams and no QB restrictions, it may take some teams an extra long time to even get a startable QB... sure, thats thats part of the reason we have to do Superflex, but still... a Superflex QB, is still going to be significantly better than a superflex any other position...

but thats all issues not to be talked about yet... and i dont even know if they are even issues... a typical dynasty, will always have rebuilders and teams playing for now.... so i dont know if it is needed to care too much about balance....

Think competitive balance is a good phrase. Thats more what I was getting at. But there are a number of potential pitfalls. For
