It's nice to see these kids get a chance to develop. Of course having Hamonic on the team helps. I like the way Scott Pellerin is coaching these guys. D Matt Donovan was scratched for the 2nd game of the year. When asked why Pellerin said he didn't play well. Donovan is expected to make the Islanders out of camp this year. Pellerin sent him a message early. I like it.

Nino is scoring again which is great. Guys like John Persson & Johan Sundstrom look so far. I think Johan Sundstrom is probably the most underrated prospect in the entire Isles system.

Kirill Kabanov has a cut in his right wrist. Those who saw the play say it's serious.

De Haan is out for the year after game 3. Now Kabanov might have a serious injury. When it rains it pours I guess.
