And neither team is a contender for the same reason.

Best player can’t stay on the court.

Shocker.

George has been a total bust. When he has played he has looked pretty underwhelming and of course, he has been injured all the time. Absolutely horrible roster building by Philly, who is now stuck playing out the string with Embiiid and George, fading stars who command huge salaries yet hardly even play. Total joke of a franchise.

And neither of those players you referenced is being paid like a perennial MVP the way George is, who now has the most untradeable contract in basketball...

Literally the only way out of this mess for Philly is to move Embiid to any team that still views him as a superstar talent.

They may want to do so sooner rather than later before he breaks down even further than he already has.

He was referencing Leonard, if I’m reading correctly, whose salary is the same as George’s.

Um....What?

Kawhi and Embiid aren't being paid like PG?

He doesn't even try to make sense anymore LOL
Some of you aren't even good at trying to ignore the point at hand...

Between, Kawhi, George, and Embiid - Which player will be making more than $55 million during the season that they turn 38?

Ummm….

So what?

George is older.

Embiid is scheduled to make $69 million in 2028/2029 when he can barely get on the court at age 30.

The fact that PG made it another big contract is a testament to him. Kind of does the opposite of what you want it to.

In July and thanks to Mr. George, the general belief was that he was finally joining a stable and polished organization...

Wrong.

Daryl Moron is the biggest retread executive in all of sports.

But, George will be 38 when his contact is up.

At least Kawhi and Embiid have either won a championship or an MVP...

George is a shameless mercenary and team hopper.

If everyone is missing the point you are trying to make don't assume it is us, you may not be making your point clearly.

Hey idiot...where in your post did you say anything about age?

This is what you posted...

And neither of those players you referenced is being paid like a perennial MVP the way George is, who now has the most untradeable contract in basketball...

You were then shown that Kawhi and Embiid are making as much as George and now it's suddenly about age. It's amazing that after all these years, you still can't get past your PG derangement.

It's no surprise though since you can't get past the Malice at the Palace and have your Mommy check under your bed to make sure your Boogeyman Lebron isn't under there.

By the way, Embiid signed a 3 year $192.9 million extension that means he will make $299.5 million through the '28-'29 season. In '28-'29 he will make over $69 million.

Interesting that instead of just admitting you were wrong (again) that you have to try to move the goalposts instead.

And you're a proven dumbass. Why does what PG is making at 38 matter?

Oh yeah...it doesn't.

Also "team hopping" isn't exactly new. There are very few Kobe's or Steph's who play their entire careers with one team anymore. And even at that, can't speak to Steph, but Kobe was within a gnats pubic hair of leaving the Lakers at least twice in his career.

Why would PG be expected to be any different...oh yeah...because he left one of your teams.

And?

What do you expect PG to do in his situation?

“Please pay me less money. I’m getting older and will probably be missing more games and my game is declining”.

Hell no.

Not his fault he got that bag. Would of been stupid to turn it down.
