Vick had come from jail and NO ONE wanted to take a chance on him. Jeffrey Lurie said that it would be O.K. to sign him.
It would take the same amount of courage to draft the first openly gay player - if not more.

Alot of them own other "businesses" so Im pretty sure they have been around gay employees before,
hell I wouldn't be shocked if a couple owners came clean...

Yes I'm aware Eagles play a 3-4 and Sam is slated for a 4-3 or 3-4 by most scouting reports....

We will see - I don't expect him to make much impact on the field. He is very small for his position. But, I wouldn't care if the Eagles drafted him in a later round.
