Richt screwed miami pretty hard when you think about it. They had to pay Temple $4 mil just to hire their own DC.
The PAC is a dumpster fire, much easier to have success at Oregon in that conference. A couple years from now I bet he tries to save Miami. That was quick, I thought they would have gone for Cristobal really. I think they were dumb not too.
Hiring a coach with no real D1 head coaching experience is always tricky. Since he never actually coached at Temple I don’t think it’s an apt comparison.I'm not sure I like it. Last Temple coach (yes, I know, Diaz wasn't there yet) didn't work out well.
Neither did hiring our last defensive coordinator (Randy Shannon).
Have to see how it works out.
I'm not so sure I agree with you. By making his decision now it gives the school and new staff time to get ready for the next year.Just bad form from Richt on this one
Next head coach’s first contract paid in full from other programs.Temple FTW
4mm + buyout from GT for the other coach.

Don Brown, Michigan DC, likely to replace Diaz at Temple. He was a finalist for the job, originally.
