Every game is a must win. That is the reason you play the game. You dont win this game, dont be surprised about falling short of the ultimate goal later on.

Via Twitter - Skip Baseless mentions that he believes the Heat lack motivation due to seeing how the Pacers have become inconsistent of late.

Thats untrue… The Heat have been unmotivated all season long - I know some will find a way to try to put it on Spo because he is the guy everyone wants to blame things on when things go wrong rather than hold the players accountable. They have team goals and personal goals they all want to accomplish, they need to find some self-motivation as I have been saying for a while now… if they cant do that… cant expect anyone else or anything else to motivate them… its on them… the players.

Pre-season was in october - 82-game regular season started in Novemember - If the Heat dont get their act together now - An early exit from the playoffs will be their fate for the 2013-14 season. In a sense, I hope they do fall short so it serves as a lesson to them not to take the regular season for granted and not use the “boredom” or “championship-hangover” excuses.

When they came together LBJ opened his mouth about winning not 6,7,….Unless he meant they would stop at 5? They need to get their act together and make good on their words during that unnecessary coming-together party - or be scrutinized for the rest of their careers and for years after it. The media and reasonable people will hold truthfully hold LBJ and Co. to those words, so he has to make good with it. The only way to do that is to stop trying to find shortcuts to the goal and giving it the full effort it needs and deserves.

Were it not for Ray Allen last season, the Heat would have fallen short - But luck and Jesus Shuttlesworth was on their side..They got away with it… Cant always get away with it - though theyve done so many times already.Countless times.

Bosh: "'ll jump out and say it. It's important. We were talking in Dec. & Jan, saying we've got those guys again twice. It's here now."

VIa Michael Wallace ESPN

CB is the only one of the big 3 who actually has always cared and found every game of the season important and knows the importance of the upcoming game vs the Pacers…. Lets see if the two divas and the rest of the team follow

According to Heat, Wade went through all of today's practice. The Heat shoot around Wed. in Indy at 11 a.m., but expect game-time decision.

The status of Diva Wade is always unknown. His vaginal aches are apparently unpredictable even at this point in the season.

Wade is 100 percent - he just needs to stop being a pussy and play. When he feels like it, he plays as if he is 100 percent.

he had his meniscus removed from his left knee in college. he will never play 82 again, nor should he. he needs to play enough to stay in the NBA shape and rhythm. but trotting him out to just trot him out there is a bad idea for Wade's long term ability to play in the NBA. he would also be breaking down come playoff time every year.

here's an idea, let the resident jack ass say whatever he wants about wade and what he should be doing with his knee. I will trust the player, the coaches, riley, and the guys who actually have medical licenses to make the decisions on what is the best course of action for Wade and the team. Rest him as much as possible especially when on the road.. because if someone is going to pay for a ticket and miss out on a superstar, let it be the other guy.

Here's to a healthy Wade come ECF and Finals times. Don't forget we won the finals last year with Wade on a bum wheel and likely getting shot up with pain killers during the game. With him healthy, we are in a much better shape to threepeat.

Yeah no doubt flauge. I'm all for Wade playing between 55-65 games if it means he will be healthy for the playoffs

Prior to this game, LBJ was asked his thoughts on this matchup and he spoke about the importance of it -

Here is a good article regarding it… At the end of it, it talks about motivation and how the Heat have to find it from within which I have been saying for years… if they cant find it from within themselves, dont expect it from Spo, Riles or anyone else.
