Lots of favorable scores for the Heat today, of course they will fail to take advantage

He didn't get away at all. He wanted a chance at a title so once Lebron left for obviously Miami were no longer an option.

Not a doubt in my mind he is a Heat if Lebron resigned with us.

I meant a few years back when he first came into the league - A guy that heat had in camp but let go

I mean unless you're delusional this was an obvious L for Miami.

OKC clearly has the better team even without KD & Ibaka and on top of that they're a great home team and we suck on the road. OKC has 2 home losses in 2015.

2-2 on this roadtrip and I'll be happy.

Gotta win against Milwaukee and especially Boston

Speaking of the Heat offense disappearing on the road - Wade disappeared after the first quarter - but again, not surprised at all

Ohh yeah you're right.

I agree with you there.

Beverly is another one we let get away

entire team has disappeared on offense.

Defense actually been really good.

87 points allowed through about 44 minutes of play is really good

NOTHING in life is obvious, same applies in sports - Anyone who has followed the Heat over the years knows that - they came through many times when odds were against them, and choked many times when it was all in their favor .

The Heat won 3 straight games they probably had no business winning, so you had to expect they would come down to earth eventually, as Wade did.

And, yes, OKC is the better team but we made them look better by letting unlikely sources to kill us while the rest of their key guys got going

Canter has been amazing since being traded there.

We need another true big in the offseason to go along with Whiteside.

Bird is more of a PF playing C

I have always thought. Birdman is done after this season, if he thinks otherwise the Heat should just move on. There should be a decent amount of cap space and roster spots available for the Heat to improve their roster in the off-season

I am sure for most of you a 2-2 road trip would be considered successful, but not for me - that said, that is probably the most likely outcome of this roadtrip

Good news is Boston were defeated at home.

Bad news is Charlotte won

Good news is tomorrow Boston & Brooklyn play which mean the loser would have 3 more losses than we have.

Good news is Indy & Charlotte both face tough challenges tomorrow. Indy is at home for Houston while Charlotte is in Chicago.

It is a good bet to say Charlotte lose so it is very possible that we will have at least 2 losses than anyone behind us

Sign me up right now for 2-2.
Most important game obviously in as far as jumping up to 6 would be tomorrow.
If we lose we are still going to make the playoffs but just as a probable 7 vs Cavs.

BTW, aren't you the one here who continually says this team might not even make the playoffs and if so then we should get over it?
If thats the case, then why would you ever be expecting the Heat to go even 2-2 on the road trip let alone win more than that?

I have never been one to lean one way or the other as to whether this team making or not making the playoffs - the point I have always tried to make is , making it or not making is not the life or death situation some people seem to make it out to be. Still, this is my home team and I root for them and will root for them until the bitter end - even if it is only through 82 regular season game and no longer

Fair enough, but IMO, if you are expecting us to win at least 3/4 on a road trip that includes a 3 desperate teams plus the best in the East, that you must think we are pretty good.

We are good enough. Good enough to make the playoffs - and, really, given the season we have had to this point, thats more than I could ask for from this team. The Heat have been on both ends of the spectrum in the playoffs. The Heat know better than most teams that ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs regardless of what went on in the regular season.

The Heat have advanced in the playoffs and won titles when the odds were against them - and have lost in the playoffs/finals when they had it all going for them. If any organization out there knows that anything can happen at playoff time - its this one. It would be most realistic to have low expectations for this team, but dont be surprised if they exceed expectations - they have done it before - no real reason to think otherwise this time.

Brooklyn and Indy both lose tonight.

Charlotte is down 5 entering the 4th in Chicago.

Looking like the teams behind us will go 1-3 tonight.

Solid night for Miami

You say this isn't life and death as some people make it out... Yet you have posted easily 2-3 times more than anyone else on this board. So clearly, if the Heat are someones life in here....
