Week 8 is bye week for the Fins - so we will enter week 9 vs the Jets on a 2 game win streak. Not a better way to enter a bye week after the way the season started for us.

Of course the Dolphins are incapable of getting a 3 and out - they instead help the Jets convert a third down on a defensive P.I. because, Dolphins

Once again can't get a stop on third and long. That Giving Dolphins D is out in full force early

Its gonna be one of those games, AGAIN, where no matter what the third down situation is for the opponent, they will convert it because this Defense will let them

So the Fins finally make a stop on third down but of course its not until we let the Jets get into scoring territory free and easy

The running game for the Fins may not be as successful today it seems.

We have to avoid taking the bait from the Jets with the extra cirrcular stuff after the whistle. Thats why I didn't like the Maxwell trash talking during the week and pre-game . Keep your mouth shut and get it done on the field.

Ok I take that back, the Beast that is Ajayi has responded. A great response after the defense let the Jets drive down the field for 3. Now the defense needs to get their head out of their ass and make a quick 3 and out stop next drive.

Cam Wake was all over the play before it even happened.

And then of course we get penalized for a horse collar tackle because we don't believe in making 3 and outs on defense

And then we leave a big hole open for Forte to run through.

The offense will once again have to keep their foot on the gas to compensate for our giving defense giving up yards and points so freely

They have to win this game IMO to have any chance of being in playoff picture. They seem to also struggle with inferior Jet teams, hope that is not the case today.

Another good response from the offense. Lets see if the defense can make themselves useful now

Decent stop to hold them to 3 after once again letting the Jets move the ball down field way too easily.

520 to go. Our next drive needs to be a clock eating scoring drive to end the half - we get ball to start second half.

Well, so much for a clock eating scoring drive. Now we have to depend on the defense to come through -- not good

Well, special teams almost came through there but not quite

Almost a turnover there

And the Dolphins D actually does come through with a stop aided by a penalty. Should be decent field position to at least get a FG before the end of half and all 3 time outs remain

Well, a penalty on the receiving of the punt ruins all that now

And a block in the back for the fins on the potential TD return - now start backed up decreasing chances of scoring before the half
