If the Dolphins defense learns how to football -- and we rediscover the art of running the ball and adjust from being such a pass happy, one dimensional offense - we might have a shot in this game vs the Browns.

Better play calling will help on both sides will help

The team and mainly the players don't seem interested in running the ball which would keep the D off the field to get some much needed rest. It's almost like a madden culture pass pass pass and pass some more. It's really too bad that they won't work on this as it would help the team in so many ways. For those fans that say hurry up offense and pass all game that's the definition of insanity as it hasn't worked in the past so why continue trying this?

They have played two high caliber teams to begin season, been real competitive in one and not so much in other, though they did have late chance to tie NE. I hope they can take those two game loses and get three wins against three teams that they can beat.

Not sure if the play calling is at fault, but the running game looks like shit.

The game yesterday was close with the Dolphins playing a more than half the game against the Patriots 3rd string QB. He was 6 for 9 for 92 yards and a TD. All things considered, how well do you think they would have done with Brady running the offense?

Your defense did exactly what the Patriots expected. They came fast and hard and JG burned them on the first three possessions for 3 TDs. You Def. Coordinator should have been a bit smarter and rushed 3 and put 8 in coverage. Instead he thought he could rattle JG and instead got rattled himself.

Overall this is a very slow starting team especially on offense that's been their biggest problem as it's put all kinds of pressure on the D. The D started out rushing 4 but became impatient as JG was doing a good job of getting it out quickly. I don't think that Brady could have done it any better to be honest he was playing fantastic in the system. As soon as the Fins did blitz they caught them in every play it was crazy.

The Fins O can definitely pass when they wake up but if they could get a running game going it would take the pressure off and let the D rest. Since the philbin/Tanny era they've simply had no interest in running or weren't able to because of a bad oline but the oline should be good enough now to keep a D honest. We'll see what happens next week I'd be surprised if they stunk it out again.

If the Fins offense plays even close to as well as they did in the 2nd half vs the Pats, it will be a win for the team. I don't see the Browns scoring much against Fins' defense especially if they play as well as they are capable of.

If the Fins could play a full 60 minutes they'd be 2-0 that's a fact. But so far we've only seen 30-40 minutes from the O, D and special teams. It's a team wide problem more so on O. Fix that and they'd be a playoff team.

Brown's are more beat up than the pats were...not sure that means anything anymore but you'd think that it would. Haden may be out now...

It REALLY should be THAT simple. It seriously SHOULD be. However, with THIS team, I think it's very safe to say that for at least 10 years, Miami has blown so many games they should have won & given AWAY games where they should have simply destroyed lesser opponents. I personally think that Miami will win comfortably.... but none of us should be anywhere NEAR surprised if Miami is leading the entire game & somehow finds a way to lose in the final 2 minutes. It's going to take at least 1 more solid draft (if this most recent one was even solid - just saying) for this team to become relevant again. Hopefully Miami wins this game going away & avoids unneeded drama. Hopefully.....

Here are the keys to victory:
The Fins must be willing to set the tone on both sides of the ball - as always, that means if you win the coin toss -- receive and score on your opening drive. Make a defensive 3-and-out stop when on defense.

Be relentless on both sides of the ball. Don't wait until the second half - don't wait until you are constantly punched in the mouth before reacting.

This has been the problem with the fins the first two weeks -- just way too conservative to start. Simply refusing to be tone-setters when given the chance.

Still only week 3, but this could be a turnaround in our season. Win this game in the manner they should win -- and it should be a little easier to prepare for the next game in a short week -- lose, and keep that sour taste in their mouths for who knows how much longer.

Game has got to get his head out of his ass today

That's the big Q. If consistent they'll win easily if not expect a dogfight...

Jamar Taylor, of course with the INT. Horrible run call on the first play - force the issue on the next one

Now the D forces a FG but not before almost getting a pick - and letting the Browns move too free and easy earlier in drive

Pick 6 after a horrible decision from T-Hill but thanks to horrible play calling in the worst possible situation. Fins will need a quick response or this could turn sour in a very dolphins way very quickly
