I wasnt watching, what happened? Gholston was in his endzone and was called for grounding and it wasnt a safety? How many yards did they lose, like 2?

He threw the ball away down field, camera did not show where it landed. He was like 8 yards deep in the end zone with a Miami player almost on him. The camera never left focus on Gholson. No flag or anything.

If the QB throws the ball downfield, past the line of scrimmage and in the area of a receiver, it's not grounding.

There must have been a receiver in the area, or the refs thought there was an intended receiver. Had it been called intentional grounding it would have been a penalty.

Good luck the rest of the game, I would much rather play Miami after they beat Notre Dame, that way i can hope for a letdown game from Miami lol

Just got back to the condo after the game. Not pretty. The few ND fans around us were OK, but most of the young ones were jack asses. There was a Guy in Miami gear (not gonna call him a fan), had a sign that said," Rudy's Mom puts out". He got tossed twice. Can't figure that one out. I think if we catch either of the Two dropped TDs on the first drive, it may have been different. But, nope. We got drove.
