I just found out that the city is actually Tampa.

Tampa Bay refers to the harbor.

I always thought that the MLB team Tampa Bay Rays, and the NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers, referred to a city.

So the Raptors this year have been playing in the city of Tampa, not Tampa Bay.
