Memorial Stadium Was Electric Tonight.

Yea I brought a big funnel into a game once and was yelling through it and they took it away from me.

Unfortunately those dudes have the worst job ever. Gotta walk around and take everyone's fun away. Any sort of artificial noise maker or enhancer of any sort is against rules or whatever.

I argued that I can just cup my hands around my mouth and essentially do the same thing and the guy told me he was sorry but he just has to do his job. So be it, I said.

I remember thinking to myself after the tunnel walk was over, that I didn't even know it started because I never heard the music. I barely remember hearing the PA announcer for the majority of the game. That is how loud it was.

That or I drank too much jäger. Maybe it was both.

It was a hell of a party wasn't it? I was stone cold sober and haven't had that much fun in a long time. Should have fed the orange vest to the Canes locker room after the game. Hang a sign on him that says Nebraska Locker Room Attendant and kick him in the ass on his way in the door.

That was the best crowd atmosphere from beginning to end in Memorial Stadium that I have experienced since the 2009 Oklahoma game.

People stood, people screamed, everything was GREAT!!!

Well, everything except 1 thing. I had a little plastic cowbell attached to one of the many beads I was wearing around my neck. I was ringing it the entire game. Then with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter this asshole in an orange vest told me to stop. Are you fucking kidding? Am I allowed to clap? Those make noise. Can I yell? That makes noise. Fucking dickhead!!!!!

I didn't talk to 1 single person all day today until about 6pm. It was then that I realized how jacked my voice is after the game last night. Just a fantastic night and the atmosphere was amazing!!!!

The sad thing is it might take another 20 years for the whole stadium to get that rowdy and fun for a B1G game. For that kind of feeling that hits you at the core and erases all inhibitions enough for a 70 year old conservative republican father of 5 girls to scream and jump around like hes 30 again.

Last night was the way it's supposed to be ALL OF THE TIME.

Both Rutgers and Minnesota could be good chances for Memorial stadium to be like that again. I'm not saying there is rivalry there, but if we can remain undefeated through to those games and both teams play Ohio State the week before us, so if one of them could pull off that upset, just maybe our house would be pretty amped for the game.

Rutgers is turning out to be a decent team. Wins at Wash St (which almost took out Oregon) and Navy, close loss to Penn state. If the could upset Ohio State they could come in 6-1 (I'm guessing they can beat Michigan).

Minnesota could also make it to November with only their 1 loss with an upset over Ohio State. Iowa looks beatable, same with Michigan.

but agree would have been nice to have gotten Wiscy or MSU at home this year. as opposed to both on the road.

^^this. It's unfortunate that a woman police officer was injured but the person who injured her was arrested and soon to be a felon.
