But it wasn't. This team is 12-3 its last 15 regular season games. They no longer are the bunch that finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I understand, those demons always seem to be around, but these guys have learned how to win at the end of games. They play with a calm and confidence with the game on the line that they have never before had. And hopefully this post is not jinxing them.

I was speaking of my post. Your thread starter was hilarious. I just find myself really positive about these guys right now, and since I'm inherently a pessimist, that scares the shit out of me.

It helps to have more talent week in and week out than the opposing team. And a defense that can be counted on consistently.

The one slither of hope I see so far is we've beaten 3 playoff-caliber teams (not sure if Detroit makes it, but they're playoff caliber).

The games I have circled are the Baltimore, Indianapolis, and San Diego games. Unlike most people on this board apparently, one game isnt enough for me.

Oh believe me, he needs to do it again and again. But you must admit now that he's done it once, that is sufficient evidence he can do it. I think he probably didn't think he could do it himself before last Sunday. Now he needs to take that and run with it.
