McNabb's comments over the weekend

I think we all agree that Wentz needs to stay healthy and win some big games for us. The issue is that when McNabb says things like he said, it seems like he is rooting against Wentz and the Eagles. Which, maybe he is. It seems like he could very well be a thin-skinned, ego-driven baby.

McNabb just has a way of saying things wrong....he really always has and never corrected for it. It wasn't the content so much, but the delivery was off (unlike Jaws, who could be critical of McNabb without coming across like a shit talker).

Add to that that there is clearly some background to McNabbs interaction with this current Eagles team (see Lane's tweet). I know I have heard about that for years now, specifically towards McNabb. There isn't mutual love there at all.
