I think we (and lawyers) are the only ones who really care. tz's head must be exploding right about now...

I read somewhere, maybe a tweet, that Bobby Evans "told" the Player Relations Manager (which I'm assuming writes the press releases from player personnel moves) that the Giants had "optioned" McGehee, but he (the Player Relations Manager) apparently made a mistake and wrote McGehee was DFA'd. I'll try to track down where I saw this.
