wow, the Patriots didn't tag McCourty, they tagged Gostowski instead. I generally oppose signing players from Super Bowl teams (and paying the "Super Bowl premium"), but this is supposedly a bad draft for safeties and there's really only one other safety on the free agent market (Moore) that looks appealing.

Management could do worse, assuming the price is right.

I would love this move if the price is not absurd. But we do need to be more careful in FA as we missed on a few currently on this team. But ya, that would be one big hole fixed.

I heard this last season too...........And we did sign a couple.

Samething will happen again this year. we won`t go overboard,but we will sign a big name,maybe two.

I don't think anyone said that last year man. I remember the exact opposite. We all kind of anticipated Emery would make some splashes.
