SO's from .75 to .50 (I get they are bad outs but still drastic)
Hold from 6 to 5 or bump up saves one point
If Saves are 8, blown saves should be half or 4 IMO

Homeruns same as extra base hits?
Why are ab's negative again?

i would like to do a full on changing for all Holds, WINS, QS, SAVES... also would like to do a differential between wins by a starter and wins by a reliever...

Maybe 5 points for a starter win and 3 points for a reliever win?? I do wonder if we should just take wins and losses out entirely because a pitcher doesn't control whether he gets run support. Maybe take out wins and losses while making a quality start worth 8 points. And maybe there should be bonus points for completing 7, 8, and 9 innings.

ABs are not really negative... it is just an easier way to penalize for outs...

I think that the strikeout penalty is too much. Maybe make it minus 0.25 or 0.50 points instead of minus 0.75. It nearly negates a run or RBI. I acquired a high contact guy in Jung Hoo Lee, so this doesn't benefit me in the short term, but I think it's better in the long term to not penalize strikeouts this much.

i love different thinking... but i dont think i am ready yet in fantasy theoretics to take away the win category....

Understood. I'm in favor of just keeping the same points for a starter win and a reliever win. A reliever isn't going to get a lot of wins and I think it's fine to have lucky things like that happen. Starters get a bunch of points from other stat categories.

i have always wondered about this when it comes to fantasy sports... why do we immortalize the strike out skill for pitchers, but ignore the contact hitter sklill...

i would say the same thing when it comes to HR for hitters, and HR for pitchers... but that is a little different, as it is already a factor in scoring... WHIP, and ERA...

as to HRs being the same as XBH... thats not true... in fact HRs should be only 1 and not 2...

but remember if you get a HR that is ALSO an XBH... so you get points for both...

might just be easier and cleaner to just use Total bases instead of Hits, HRS, and XBH... maybe a .5 bonus for HRs...

i do remember my logic when i used XBH instead of TB... but ruined it when i designated 2 points for HR instead of 1...

can i ask why?? that is one of the milkian scorings that i actually like...

Or maybe give starters some more swag idk. It's wild seeing starters go 5 and 2/3 give up 1 run and score 8 pts or something. Then a reliever comes in for a one innig hold and gets 11.

the IRS is not the reason for that... its the Wins/holds/saves that does that... the most a pitcher can receive in IRS is 1.5...
