combine the last 2 weeks or do away with this week all together it is such a crap shoot on who plays

Yep kinda reminds me of fantasy football leagues with their title game in week 17. Shit cost me last year because the Steelers rested all their stars. I'm totally ok with everything @Driaz suggested.

Yeah this is bad. We got to do something to prevent this next year. Either make the final two weeks long so innings limit can easily be reach or have the championship match played the 2nd to last week of the season. Too many last minute decisions take place after our rosters are set during the championship match.

I didn't even realize til yesterday that the Twins decided to not start Berrios this weekend either lol. Saving him for Tuesday. I had a possible 9 starts cut to 6.

an easy way is to just eliminate the inning's limit... I'm not really sure why we need it... I truly believe the 'P' slot stinks.

Even if we eliminate the IP limit in the future, I agree with TKO that this is equivalent of NFL week 17 and I think our final even if we keep it at 1 week with no IP limit should definitely be moved to the second to last week.

As another note to this week being non-ideal for our championship. If I would of made the final, I don't think I would of made the innings limit either. I wouldn't of went with 3 RP due to the uncertainty of starters, but I don't think the news on Leake not pitching due to some injury was available until Tuesday so I likely would of had him in my lineup unless their was a FA that was more appealing. (which seems like their should always be someone more appealing than Leake, right? LOL)

Good game, BKS... I agree with Driaz, with the finals being mid-September. It's just too unpredictable with starters in the actual last week of the season.

I guess it turned out to be a barn burner after all, just all the excitement was about who was going to get to magic number 32! You got to 32.1 IP versus BKS only having 31.2. That 2/3 of an IP theoretically decided the championship. If that number was flipped, BKS is the champ. (If you both would of hit the minimum innings TKO would of still been the champ, but much closer final. I'm sorry for BKS, but I'm glad the winner would of been the winner whether the innings limit was there or not.

We have 5 definites back, just need to get the rest of the list to say they are back in and we will set up the draft. Which I believe is a slow draft so we need to start it at least two weeks before the season starts.
