It is not only you, you just happened to be the latest. This was the 7th one this year.

Part of it is that it seems that starters are not going as deep into games anymore. I know the trend has steadily declined in recent times, but this year seems even worse with starters (even if they are not getting shelled) being lifted in the 4th or 5th inning even if they've only given up 3 or 4 runs.

Robbie Ray's line was 5 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9K in 94 pitches. Granted, it was his first start back from the concussion....

HS baseball instituted pitch counts as a hard rule this past season.

That was a bitch to deal with.

Final week Tlance plays Driaz and tries to hold onto that 1 1/2 game lead over Nos who plays Molsan who is only 4 games behind Tlance. Should be interesting.

Now this is a freaking crazy snapshot of mine and TKO's matchup!!!



5-5 mid-week and everything is bass-akwards!!

Other than wins (currently lead 2-1 and for the season I do lead that over TKO) every category is flipped. Every season long category edge for either of us is currently in favor of the opposite team. My bats crushed everyone while TKO's pitching is his strength. His bats are murdering me, and thanks to Vizcaino I have a shot on the pitching side!!

My team is gonna need some luck though, since TKO holds the season tie breaker and my bats have more ground to make up in order to compete than his arms.
