I considered it at #5..but I just can't take an OF not named Trout in the top 5..to many other positions have such a huge drop, and OF always a eems to be the one that's somewhat easy to find suitable pieces all year round

Truth. That's why I grabbed EE in the 2nd even tho I already had Rizzo. Although, Puig was very tempting.

i think i cried inside when Cano Was taken before i could... Same with Kipnis and Dozier, and CHRIS DAVIS... Tears actually fell down my face... i was so intending to get them... Made some compensation picks instead... Hope they didn't hurt me too much...

Stanton going 7th...just ain't right.

I was getting giddy as I saw Stanton dropping toward me at 8 but alas he did not make it to me.
Overall, considering the competition, I am happy with my draft. I followed my plan of about 60% hitter, 40% pitchers in the fist 12 rounds. Some power and speed ( Bautista, Altuve & Revere)and I like my staff. Would have liked to get another quality reliever but value was never there. Best part of my draft was my SP; Cueto, Arrieta, A Wood, Shoemaker, Paxton.

even though I do agree that OF is always the deepest position... I do find that the better your OF is the better your offense is... I like having a very strong OF, will help during the season, its just another position to worry less about during FA...

In Treff's case, he got Goldschmidt in the first, and then Springer in the third. While that may have been a round or so early and Springer still has to be considered somewhat of a crapshoot for this season, it's a nice gamble on the upside. Springer makes it to me at the end of that round, I think I go for it.

Treff took Springer two picks before me and whomever (Fuzzy?) was in between us said they wanted him.

Nah, I took Upton over Dickerson...and regretted it after I thought about it.

Unless you took Wilbur, or whatever his name is now...

I am looking at my team, I like it, but I drafted way too much speed for a H2H... My team's strength is offense, should have been able to be more offensively balanced... Especially with the way I waited so long to draft my first SP...

I feel your pain on that, mine fried this morning. Got a new one and spent most of the day trying to get all my stuff on the hard drive, setting up bookmarks and all that. In the meantime, I'm bugging my neighbor to see if it's my turn to draft in Milk's league. Total pain in the ass.
