From Paul's side, that was all next year. For me, it was one for next year and 2 for this year. I've got a slim chance of making the playoffs, might as well go all in.

I'm not quite out of it yet...getting offers for Gyorko and, surprisingly, Avasail Garcia, whom I just picked up. I am standing pat as of now.

I went into that concert last night pretty much knotted up with Rev, came out with a 8.5-1.5 drubbing. I guess my team went in One Direction too. (pretty much the same one as my head)

note: as horrendous as that concert was (and it was), my girls were so damn happy it was ridiculous. So all in all a good day.

Good luck to you as well. I made sure I was in front of the computer at 12:08, just in case you decided to pull a fast one and put your closers back in. Off to a god start with Hendricks verse the Mets.

Just 3 weeks left in the regular season!

With so little time left, the remaining weekly reviews will focus exclusively on end of season races.

A league Review:

Race for First-

This is essentially a two team race between Reverend Jim and Tlance. Both are likely to get first round byes, but Fuzzy is within striking distance of Jim at 8.5 games back.

Jim won big against Paul, while Tlance was saddled with a 7-3 loss by Fuzzy. Tlance's once huge lead is now down to just 4 games. This week, Jim faces Chef, while Tlance tries to get back on track against Treff.

Playoff Battles-


Nobody has officially clinched yet, but it would take an epic collapse for any of Tlance, Jim or Fuzzy to miss the playoffs. Big D is also looking good in 4th place. He is 10 games ahead of 7th place Sam and also highly likely to advance. On the other end of things, although not officially eliminated, things look bleak for Paul and Ram. Paul and Ram are both 11.5 games behind 6th place TKO.

The race between 5th and 8th is extremely close. All 4 teams have a good shot to claim one of the final 2 playoff spots if their teams can perform down the stretch. Only 5.5 games separate 5th place Treff and 8th place Chef. TKO is half a game behind Treff, Sam is 1 game behind TKO and Chef is still within shouting distance, just 4 games behind Sam, and 5 behind TKO.

This week, three of the teams in the race do battle with opponents ranked higher than them. Treff faces Tlance, TKO challenges Big D, and Chef takes on Jim. Sam has a great opportunity to gain some ground against Paul's team who is coming off a rough week.

Relegation-


This one is pretty much decided. With the Prospect League likely to promote 2 teams, Dub and Kevin appear destined for demotion. Dub is 14 games behind Paul and Ram and Kevin is 12.5 games back. Neither team appears likely to climb out of the hole they currently sit in. Kevin has a great opportunity this week with a matchup against Ram. A big win could make things interesting.

Prospect League Review-

Race for First-

This one is huge, since the first place team gets an automatic bid to the A league. Technically, the top 6 teams are still within reach of the top spot, but the top 4 teams are most likely to overtake first place Micro. Micro has opened up a 5 game lead over second place Driaz, but Smitty and Milk are tied for third place just 7 games back.

Smitty has a chance to gain ground with a matchup against last place Foot. Milk faces the always difficult OBX. Micro plays Brock and Driaz locks horns with a struggling Redseat. Milk clearly has the toughest matchup of the 4, but one of the lower seeds could well emerge as a spoiler. This is still anybody's race.

Playoff Battle-

The top 6 seeds are pretty well established in the Prospect League. Foot was eliminated a long time ago. Trudem, Brock, Redseat and Trudem all sit 11 or more games behind sixth place JD. They all appear to be longshots to make a playoff push at this point.

7th place Molsan is 7.5 games behind JD and 8 behind OBX. If he can notch a big win against AZ Sting this week, he could make this race much more interesting. JD plays Trudem and OBX will look to knock off Milk.
