I just came into the chat room to ask about this. Can't we adjust this for the short week only ,even if we would need to override based on a revised innings minimum? Perhaps we don't have this capability in the free league.

Seems to me that there would have to be some sort of workaround. Otherwise, this could really suck.

In my money league we elongate both ends of the AS break to the week before and after. We set lineups on Saturday, and our normal week ends on Friday. But this week runs through the weekend up to the break. Next week begins early (Thurs or Fri) and runs through the weekend to the next Fri until we get back on track.

Starting on Mondays never made sense to me for default situations. But you would think they would have it defaulted to a 10 day scoring period?

We also play two opponents each week, which I think makes more sense too...less of those high scoring weeks to waste. ... what a ramble!

Yahoo automatically combines this week and next into one long week. Nothing we can do about Fantrax, it's how they set things up. All we can do is contact them and tell them how bad this short week is and hope they do something different next year.

Even if I did that, still only have 4 pitchers slated to start. . Might as well add all the closers, maybe even drop the one off the end of the bench and grab a middle/short reliever.

Really though, this isn't their first go around, I have a feeling there is something built in to negate the innings minimum, or something to that effect for this week.

As of today. That info might change over the next week, as teams re-tool their lineups to start the 2nd half.

Usually its wed or thursday they say who is pitching that weekend since they dont know who will pitch in AS game
