Let's see...Shields, Zimmermann, Kluber and Lohse.

If JV rights the ship, that's a pretty damn good #5.

Yeah Sammy, I think you can stop playing the "I'm just happy to be here" card.

You know what I found out this week? That it is REALLY hard to win or compete in W's & K's When you have 6 starters going, and your opponent has 10.

As such, I was solidly TKO'ed by Balls & Spikes.

So here's the thing though Chef. Last year, I would not have known who Springer, Singleton,Taveres, the kid from the Pirates (obviously I still don't know who he is lol) and probably wouldn't have cared until they were all over me. This year I went to pick up the kid from the Pirates like 2 weeks in and he was gone...........so basically I was like 5 steps behind and this year I feel like I'm a lot closer but still not there. Like the trades I've made so far this year: If Wright can get um, Wright then I would say that trade was good even though I had to give up JB. Trading Bummy for Braun was supposed to suppliment the Bats loss (a little)still remains to be seen. The trade I just made with you for Verlander could be huge for me if he can get wins and start striking people out. Also, with Fantrax, it seems 1000% easier to look at matchups and I have actually been playing matchups (see, I sat Smyly this week, didn't want him pitching against those ho Red Sox; sure am glad they cooled down again right before his start so he could have a great start on my bench).

Good luck this week Jim.............should be fun as always!

Good luck to you and your 10 starts this week (is that rain in the forecast:rollseyes:). Looks like I'll be relying on my hitting this week. Worst case, I know I should be able to take saves and stolen bases, everything after that is just crossed fingers :hope:

Lol, good match, Rev.
Same to you Chef, see you in 11 weeks for the rematch.

Aw, you're doin' alright...and I like Smyly; maybe not this week, but I like him.

I have held Polanco since draft day. Did not want Paul getting his hooks on him.

Yeah, Paul loves his prospects.................Singleton had a pretty good week. Who was it that drafted Springer? TKO? That kid has 12 HR's already! I didn't notice how many he's hit until last night.

A League Recap:

Standings:
1. Tlance: 64-28-8
2. Fuzzy: 56-41-3
3. Dude: 51-41-8
4. Jim: 51-43-6
5. Ram: 49-43-8
5. TKO: 50-44-6
7. Treff: 46-48-6
8. Sam: 43-48-9
9. Chef: 44-52-4
10. Paul: 38-57-5
11. Kevin: 36-58-6
12. Dub: 33-58-9

Week 10 Results-

Tlance: 7.5 Treff 2.5- Both pitching staffs were amazing. Treff had a 1.46 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP, and lost both. Most cats were still up in the air on Sunday, but Tlance edged out Treff in most places. Tlance posts the big score this week and extends his lead on the field. Next up is a prime matchup with Big D.

TKO 7, Big D 3- Big D was overwhelmed in the pitching cats this week, and falls back to third place as a result. TKO rode his 4 extra starts along with a power surge to a comfortable win. TKO moves into a tie for 5th and is now 4 full games up on the 7th place team.

Jim 7, Chef 3- Jim was up 10-0 on Saturday, but Chef was able to bring things back a little. Jim's pitching staff continues to dominate and will be extremely hard to beat with his lineup full of aces. Jim remains in 4th place, but he is now only 3.5 games out of second.

Fuzzy 6.5, Dub 3.5- Both sides had great hitting weeks and mediocre pitching. Dub gained a couple points late in the week to make it close. Fuzzy's win was enough to move him back into second place, although the gap between 2nd and 6th is very slight.

Ram 5, Kevin 5- Both teams played very well to earn this split. Ram stays on the inside of the playoff race while Kevin just can't seem to get it going.

Paul 5, Sam 5- Paul's 5 reliever strategy helped him get 3 pitching points. Both offenses had strong weeks, but Sam's was a little bit better. Paul currently sits in 10th place and needs to get things going soon.

Prospect League recap to come soon!

Prospect League Recap:

Standings:
1. Milk: 57-37-6
2. Redseat: 53-38-9
3. JD: 53-42-5
3. Driaz: 51-40-9
5. Smitty: 51-44-5
6. Micro: 48-47-5
7. OBX: 45-47-8
8. Foot: 41-48-11
8. Molsan: 40-47-13
10. Trudem: 39-54-7
11. Brock: 39-56-5
12. AZ Sting: 40-57-3

Game Results:

Smitty 8, Foot 2: Smitty's pitching staff was absolutely dominate this week and the offense did enough to complete the blowout win. Smitty is now firmly in 5th place, just 6.5 games out of first. Foot follows up last week's upset win over Milk with a disappointing result.

JD 7, Trudem 3- JD bombarded Trudem with 17 HRs and some really solid pitching. JD is now in a tie for 3rd, just 4.5 games back. Trudem needs a spark to avoid falling out of contention all together.

Molsan 6.5, AZ Sting 3.5- Molsan got a much needed win over last place Sting. AZ's team played well and would have won if he had a full lineup.

Micro 6, Brock 4- Micro's pitching continues to carry him. He won all 5 pitching cats and has now surged into 6th place. Micro has been on the rise ever since changing his name.

Redseat 5, Driaz 5- This battle between top teams was extremely close. Both teams had strong pitching and pretty mediocre hitting. Redseat stays in 2nd, just 2.5 games back and Driaz is tied for third.

Milk 5, OBX 5- Milk's pitching staff was great as normal, but OBX managed to take a few points away and ear the tie. Milk is still hanging on to the top spot, but things have tightened up considerably. OBX falls to 7th and is 1.5 games out of the final playoff spot.

The Puig trade has come back to haunt me, with CarGo's injury.
