I think we need an official scorecard to keep track of who is on Philabuster's team. :what:

Ha, I kid. Made two offers this morning that I was reasonably sure would be rejected, and they were, although I thought Paul might've had some interest in half of one. I am slowly beginning to resign myself to the fact that my lineup is what it is. However, with Arenado playing so well, I'm shopping Ryan Zimmerman if anyone is interested.

We'll still break 10 haha

Love Arenado...not best format for him: doubles power for now, low walks...
But man, oh man, he's just awesome to watch square up everything.

He's going to be very very good imo

I guess I'm missing something. ..All the cuts/DFA's/optioned to AAA transactions they've made today seem fairly insignificant imho

Franklin could have been a pretty valuable backup piece for me if he had been traded. Even better if he had gained SS eligibility.

What are your opinions on Robbie Grossman? He is slotted to bat 2nd for the Astros. Could get steals and score some runs. In my other league we use OBP not BA and he walked a lot in the minors and a short stint in the majors. My bench is Colby Rasmus, Raja Davis, and Kris Bryant. I would probably drop Bryant since he was sent back to AAA .

So much for anyone worried about facing Kershaw 3 times in week one.

Whether it had anything to do with his injury or not, I'll bet this is the last time they start the season 2 weeks early!

Baseball tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I have to tell a story. A true story. A funny story. You'll laugh, you'll cry.

Hired a guy that's kinda hard on his luck but after 2 days I can see that he will work out and I'm very happy about that. So last night we recieved 2 pallets of shrubbery (where's Will when you need a Monty Python joke) and I needed to get them outside to get them watered, but it was late. So I tell dude to put them on the walk and maybe it will rain hard enough overnight and take care of the watering for us. BTW, this guy is in his early 50's. Anyway, he whips out his handy dandy smart phone, looks at the weather and tells me that hs app is never wrong and there won't be enough rain to water overnight.............and he was right: I'm looking at 4" of snow right now and it's still snowing to beat all hell!

Happy Baseball Eve,
Sam
