I don't even know what a good bid is on these things

A good bid is the winning bid. No way to generalize that. Six months of baseball divided by $100.

Obviously these players are outside the normal FA market, so I assume the winning bids will be high. The question is who wants to dare themselves into too high.
Remember, $0 bids are available for future claims.

yea, its tricky.... if you really think about it... the teams that plan to compete can not really afford to go crazy high for some players... because if they do then they will have trouble getting god players later on in the season...

but the rebuilding teams might not want to pay so much for these aging elite players.... because they are aging and becoming injury prone...

couldnt have asked for a more interesting first FAAB.... when trout is the number one player, and he is becoming injury prone.... just makes it even more intersting....

For the record:

TKO gets: Ozzie Albies

Soggy gets: Brendan Rogers, Alex (Boris) Kirilloff, Nick Lodolo, Nick Prado, dropping Jed Lowrie.

I love Ozzie, but this was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Ooh, now I'm gettin' into this. :) :) :)

I'm waiting until after the FA waivers tonight to possibly make a move.

Yeah Ozzie a great pickup and only 24 years old for TKO. You just never know with prospects sometimes but that's a load!

I was gonna wait as well, but I just liked the deal too much. This has also made me totally revamp my FAAB bids.

Given our history over the years, I think it's fitting that we made the first big splash.

I'm just glad you didn't try for Dante's kid. I would've somewhat reluctantly declined.

He's probably the only untouchable player on my team.
