When I picked up Vasil (example) last year, I made sure he wasn't a 2023 MLB draft pick.
I constantly check MiLB box scores/players and will continue to add minor leaguers that haven't sniffed the majors yet. I do believe that isn't the issue at hand though.

It is not hard to confirm the player you're adding (in July) wasn't drafted in June). As for international signings, that seems to be even we easier to legislate (but that should be on Fantrax to confirm).

one more thing... because the IR is not designated until once the season starts, I temporarily changed the IR rules such that, you can put anyone in the IR spot...

this is not meant to be taken advantage of, as you can't put healthy players onto it... but if the player is injured, even day-to-day, he can be put there for the first week...

once week 2, we will use the real IR rules...
