NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock believes Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandjio and Virginia OT Morgan Moses are the "two most logical guys" for Washington's first pick at No. 34 overall.
The Redskins' first-round pick, No. 2 overall, is property of St. Louis' thanks to the RGIII trade. With the second pick in the second round, Mayock believes Washington could be sniffing around a new starting right tackle to bookend Trent Williams. Kouandjio and Moses would make plenty of sense, and both have Pro Bowl upside as RTs. In fact, movement issues with both might make RT their best pro positions.

Have to agree with this.

Moses I am OK with. Kojo I have concerns about his knees. There are just too many conflicting reports that he may be too risky.

If the Skins or any team in the first round select him you would think that the knee issue is solved. If the knee was an issue then no team would take him in the first three rounds. I find that doubtful. From his last workout the knee was fine according to reports.

Not according to some of the reports I've read. Also, teams with a first round pick can chose to be a bit riskier with their second round. We can't. That is our first pick so we need to minimize all chances do picking a flop as much as possible. If Moses is gone at 34, I'd look at the next BPA on my board.

Arthritic knees is Arthritic knees. And i think its worse for guys over 300 LBS KOJO should be off the draft board for Washington unless he falls to the 5th round. No way we should even consider him at 34.

Then why are there reports that team doctors gave teams the ok to draft him? It doesn't make sense. The knee is bad or good there is no maybe.

For the same reason why some people have Manziel rated as a top five pick, and others think he will slide to the second round. Opinions vary. One team doctor may look at his knees and say they should be fine, another may say it will be a life long issue. The fact that ANY have said it would be a life long issue is a problem to me. Arthretic knees rarely get better and generally tend to just get worse. It doesnt make sense to you because YOU want him drafted by the Redskins.

Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandjio's surgically-repaired knee is drawing mixed reviews from NFL medical staffs, reports ESPN's Todd McShay.
Out of 10 organizations he asked, four told McShay that they flunked Kouandjio or depressed his grade based on health concerns. Perhaps the prospect, who suffers from an arthritic knee, will take solace in having been cleared by more than half. Kouandjio could go as high as the late teens in Round 1, or as low as the mid second-round. McShay assigned Kouandjio an early second-round grade. May 3 - 6:59 PM

The fact that 4 out of ten doctors down graded him on the condition of his knees is what you should really worry about. You want to see him as the answer at RT. I see a kid who has questions about the long term healthy of his knees and thus a reach at 34.

All I know is that he was being compared to Fluker and Fluker was a top 10 pick. He might not have a 10-15 year career but a 5 year career would be fine with me with his ability. Two good bookend tackles are worth a lot in this league. I would take the chance, if you call it a chance.
