Seems like Cousin's talent level is a topic of discussion every off season. The dude ain't terrible, he also ain't all that great. He is what he is, good enough to be a QB2 who, any given week, can give QB1 numbers, but not good enough to realistically expect him to be your guy every week. If I'm taking a starting QB late, I'd much rather have Rivers or Big Ben.

Rivers is such an underrated fantasy guy generally back end top ten

misleading though..dude had huge games in three of the first four..then he was mediocre pretty much the rest of the way. Rivers was consistently better, start to finish, without the peaks, that's why I'd rather have him and Cousins is better suited to the qb2 role.

Well either way..still one of his best statistical/scoring seasons. Not really sure why people think it was a down season. Unrealistic expectations I guess. But he really did have a good season..by his standards..honestly he did better than I thought he would

oh I ain't denying that he's been subpar..that's what I've been saying ever since he took over for RGIII. I gotta assume everyone remembers all those debates I got into over it with virtual everyone, labeling me a cousins hater cuase I didn't want him as a QB1, or that there was no way he'd ever live up to the contract.

I must say...not a single, hey Treff, you were right, Cousins sure let me down last year.
And the overall point being, statistically, he did nearly the best he's EVER done...and he still let owners down.
I'm in no way in his corner, but he's better than most QB2's, its just that, that's all he is, and if that's what you expect from him, it'll be great.

Now, real football wise? He's a compiler, not a winner. Keeps your team competitive, not puts them over a hump, he's no missing link to a SB.
