I think I read this earlier in the week. Not that it matters a ton, but I could have sworn it was "teams that have a winning record at the end of the season". Either way, not ideal.

Yeah, I recall hearing that he was winless against winning teams, I think until earlier this year (having looked into it, he beat the 3-0 Bears at home in week four). Kind of pathetic. Can't lay it all at his feet, but he's the QB, and ultimately he's not getting it done against good teams.

Though having read some of the thread Sick posted, now I'm not sure if they only look at the end of year records.

fans always dream of an explosive passing game and Detroit has had the pieces at a few years now. but how far have they gone, and how far will they go next few years? which shows you still need some balance on offense, not claiming 50/50, but can't just throw the ball.

IMO, if they use Bush and Bell a little more, they'll be better off.

on morning radio someone said you especially need a running game and defense in the play-offs. no doubt.

I know people like to blame their defense because their offense can boom, how is their time of possession? Is the defense tired because of the three and out, stopped clock on incompletions from a pass happy offense, and quick scores when they succeed? Are they getting short fields with a gunslinger QB?
